        Upcoming Events Story Time September 3, September 10, September 17, September 24 Memoir Writing and Creative Writers Workshop on Zoom September 11 6:30-8:30pm Crafters Group September 1, September 15 1-3pm (drop-in anytime) “Bring-Your-Own-Craft” Night September 19 6:30-7:30pm LEGO Club September 8, September 22 1-3pm (drop-in anytime)   Chat with Caroline Dear Wonderful Patrons, Our two town libraries – West Buxton Public Library and Berry Memorial Library – are hosting “One Book, One Community,” a community reading event. Check out a copy of Horse at either library. Read the book in 6 sections (1 section per month), answer the fifth set of discussion questions this month (chapters 37-45; pages 311-366), and write reviews for entries into a drawing for a gift card to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Join me for Story Time on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11am. Listen to a story, sing some songs, enjoy some felt board fun, and participate in a craft. Stuffies usually make an appearance! The Memoir Writing Workshop for adults now includes creative writing! If you are a creative writer, feel free to join Lorraine Lindstedt and the rest of the group via Zoom from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, September 11. This group meets on the second Wednesday of the month usually via Zoom. Are you a crafting enthusiast? Join us for our Crafters Group from 1-3pm on Sunday, September 1 and Sunday, September 15. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect, share ideas, and work on a craft project. This group is drop-in and meets the first and third Sunday of every month.   If you would like to craft at another day and time other than Sunday, join me on Thursday, September 19. “Bring-Your-Own-Craft” Night is the third Thursday of the month from 6:30-7:30pm. Try a challenge or free build from 1-3pm during Lego Club on Sunday, September 8 and Sunday, September 22. All ages are welcome.   Recent Highlights Summer Reading Program participants enjoyed dressing up as their favorite book characters for one of the Bingo board activities. Recent Highlights (Con’t.) Also, one Lego Club participant took the spinner challenge and got “Build a rainbow.” He and his dad both built Lego rainbows!

Drop-ins are welcome.   Sunday, September 8 Sunday, September 22 Take one of our LEGO challenges, make a design from “The LEGO Ideas Book,” or create your own design. All LEGO creations stay at the library so there will be plenty of bricks for the next event. Caroline will display any creations on the windowsill next to the makerspace table until the next LEGO Club. Monthly Calendar of Events
