See “Stay Tuned…” for more information. Our two town libraries – West Buxton Public Library and Berry Memorial Library – are hosting “One Book, One Community,” a community reading event. Check out a copy of Horse at either library. Read the book in 6 sections (1 section per month), answer the third set of discussion questions this month (chapters 19-27; pages 146-244), and write reviews for entries into a drawing for a gift card to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Join me for Story Time on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11am. Listen to a story, sing some songs, enjoy some felt board fun, and participate in a craft. Stuffies usually make an appearance! If you have thought about writing your memoir, join Lorraine Lindstedt at the Memoir Writing Workshop via Zoom from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, June 12. This group meets on the second Wednesday of the month usually via Zoom. Are you a crafting enthusiast? Join us for our Crafters Group on Sunday, June 2 and Sunday, June 16 from 1-3pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect, share ideas, and work on a craft project. This group is drop-in and meets the first and third Sunday of every month. If you would like to craft at another day and time other than Sunday, join me for “Bring-your-own-craft” night on Thursday, June 20 from 6:30-7:30pm. “Bring-your-own-craft” night is a monthly program on the third Thursday of the month. Try a challenge or free build during Lego Club on Sunday, June 9 and Sunday, June 23. All ages are welcome. This group is drop-in and meets the second and fourth Sunday of every month. Thank you for your support and I hope to see you at the library soon. Sincerely, Caroline Nickerson, Library Director |
