Check out a copy of Horse at either library. Read the book in 6 sections (1 section per month), answer the second set of discussion questions this month (chapters 10-18; pages 75-145), and write reviews for entries into a drawing for a gift card to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. See “Stay Tuned…” for the two discussion questions you can answer at the library or via email for an entry into the drawing. Join me for Story Time on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11am. Listen to a story, sing some songs, enjoy some felt board fun, and participate in a craft. Stuffies usually make an appearance! If you have thought about writing your memoir, join Lorraine Lindstedt at the Memoir Writing Workshop via Zoom from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, May 8. This group meets on the second Wednesday of the month usually via Zoom. Are you a crafting enthusiast? Join us for our Crafters Group on Sunday, May 5 and Sunday, May 19 from 1-3pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect, share ideas, and work on a craft project. This group is drop-in and meets the first and third Sunday of every month. If you would like to craft at another day and time other than Sunday, join me for “Bring-your-own-craft” night on Thursday, May 16 from 6:30-7:30pm. “Bring-your-own-craft” night is a monthly program on the third Thursday of the month. Try a challenge or free build during Lego Club on Sunday, May 12 and Sunday, May 26. All ages are welcome. This group is drop-in and meets the second and fourth Sunday of every month. Thank you for your support and I hope to see you at the library soon. Sincerely, Caroline Nickerson, Library Director |
