Last month, you voted on your favorite from three titles, and the winning title is “Horse”. See “Stay Tuned…” for more information. Are you a crafting enthusiast? Join us for our Crafters Group on Sunday, February 4 and Sunday, February 18 from 1-3pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect, share ideas, and work on a craft project. This group is drop-in and meets the first and third Sunday of every month. If you would like to craft at another day and time other than Sunday, join me for “Bring-your-own-craft” night on Thursday, February 15 from 6:30-7:30pm. (“Bring-your-own-craft” night is a monthly program on the third Thursday of the month). If you have thought about writing your memoir, join Lorraine Lindstedt at the writing workshop via Zoom from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, February. Try a challenge or free build during Lego Club, which will now meet every other Sunday afternoon from 1-3pm. Lego Club will be on Sunday, February 11 and Sunday, February 25. All ages are welcome. This group is drop-in and meets the second and fourth Sunday of every month. Join me for Story Time on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11am. Listen to a story, sing some songs, enjoy some felt board fun, and participate in a craft. Stuffies usually make an appearance! | Stay Tuned… 📚✨ “One Book, One Community” 📚✨ Embark on a community-wide reading adventure as our two town libraries – West Buxton Public Library and Berry Memorial Library – present “One Book, One Community”! Both librarians carefully selected three compelling titles each, and you voted for the winning book. The winning title is: Horse Copies of this book will be provided at both libraries, inviting you and other patrons to delve into the same captivating story and share your thoughts. This program is a celebration of the joy of reading and the power of community connections. Stay tuned for information about upcoming book discussions! | ||
| Upcoming Events Join Caroline for a story, songs, felt board, and a craft. Wednesday, February 14, 2024 6:30-8:30pm Attend one or more workshops as desired. No experience needed. Spelling doesn’t count. No obligation to share unless you want to. *NOTE: This is now “Bring-Your-Own Craft” Night. The program this month is Thursday, February 15. Bring whatever project you are working on to enjoy crafting with others. This program is on the third Thursday of each month. | ||
| LEGO Club *NOTE: LEGO Club is now from 1-3pm every other Sunday. This month, LEGO Club is on February 11 and February 25. Drop ins welcome. Take one of our LEGO challenges, make a design from “The LEGO Ideas Book,” or create your own design. All LEGO creations stay at the library so there will be plenty of bricks for the next event.
