Upcoming Events Story Time September 5, September 12, September 19, September 26 10:30-11am LEGO Club September 3, September 10, September 17, September 24 1-3pm (drop-in anytime) Memoir Writing Workshop in person at Melody’s home September 13 3:30-5:30pm “Bring-Your-Own-Craft” Night September 21 6:30-7:30pm		Chat with Caroline Dear Wonderful Patrons, Starting this month, we will have a “Bring-Your-Own-Craft” Night on Thursday, September 21 from 6:30-7:30pm. This program will be on the third Thursday of each month except on holidays. There will be an ongoing book sale inside the library for the whole month of October. See the following “Stay Tuned…” page for more information. Join me for Story Time on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11am. Listen to a story, sing some songs, enjoy some felt board fun, and participate in a craft. Try a challenge or free build during Lego Club on Sunday afternoons. All ages are welcome. Lego Club is from 1-3pm but you may arrive and leave at your leisure within this time frame. Feel free to join one or more Lego Clubs as your schedule allows. If you have thought about writing your memoir, join Lorraine Lindstedt at the memoir writing workshop this month. The workshop this month will be graciously hosted in person by one of the members, Melody, at her home on Wednesday, September 13 from 3:30-5:30pm. 		Stay Tuned… Donation-Based Book Sale The entire month of October! Inside! Tuesday 10-2 Thursday 4-8 Sunday Noon-4 Explore a wide selection of books, including fiction, non-fiction, young adult fiction, and children’s books! Instead of fixed prices, you can donate an amount that feels right to you, making books affordable for everyone. Your generous contributions directly support our library’s initiatives, programs, and services, fostering literacy and lifelong learning in our community.

Upcoming Events NOTE: Story Time is from 10:30-11 every Tuesday morning. Join Caroline for a story, songs, felt board, and a craft. NOTE: The workshop this month will be graciously hosted in person by one of the members, Melody, at her home on Wednesday, September 13 from 3:30-5:30pm. LEGO Club LEGO Club is from 1-3pm every Sunday. Drop ins welcome. Take one of our LEGO challenges, make a design from “The LEGO Ideas Book,” or create your own design. All LEGO creations stay at the library so there will be plenty of bricks for the next event. Caroline will display any creations on the windowsill next to the makerspace table until the next event. Recent Highlights Story time participants enjoyed tracing their hands (and a foot) on paper to create handprint (and a footprint) fish. They enjoyed coloring their fish and gluing on googly eyes. Lego Club participants were up for the following challenges: “You are now in medieval times. You are commissioned to build a jousting arena.” “You and your friends decide to build a tree house.”
