      February 2025 Newsletter Are you a crafting enthusiast or a Lego fan? Join us for our Crafter’s Group on Sunday, February 2 and 16 from 1-3pm or Lego Club on Sunday, February 9 and 23 from 1-3pm.
        Upcoming Events Story Time February 4, February 11, February 18, February 25 10:30-11am Memoir Writing and Creative Writers Workshop February 12 6:30-8:30pm Via Zoom Crafter’s Group February 2, February 16 1-3pm (drop-in anytime) LEGO Club February 9, February 23 1-3pm (drop-in anytime)   Chat with Caroline Dear Wonderful Patrons, The Memoir Writing Workshop for adults now includes creative writing! If you are a creative writer or interested in writing your memoir, feel free to join Lorraine Lindstedt and the rest of the group via Zoom from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, February 12. The writing prompt is: Valentine – create a card, letter, story. No one is obliged to share – ever! The group will also be discussing the project a group member is working on for a presentation: Book covers. This group meets on the second Wednesday of the month usually via Zoom. Join me for Story Time on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11am. Listen to a story, sing some songs, enjoy some felt board fun, and participate in a craft. Stuffies usually make an appearance! Are you a crafting enthusiast? Join us for our Crafter’s Group on Sunday, February 2 and Sunday, February 16 from 1-3pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect, share ideas, and work on a craft project. This group meets the first and third Sunday of the month. Try a challenge or free build during Lego Club, which meets the second and fourth Sunday of the month from 1-3pm. Lego Club will be on Sunday, February 9 and Sunday, February 23.   Recent Highlights   Lego Club participants created two different free builds. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the photos I took so you’ll have to imagine what they looked like. Perhaps these participants would re-build their creations so I can show the photos in next month’s newsletter.     Photo 1: It’s a book stealer. The book stealer comes into the library and steals the books at night. That’s why the books go missing. The driver isn’t exactly sure about this but his truck uses a bookmark to steal the books. The book stealer has a propeller to help him steal extra heavy books.   Photo 2: It’s an explosive creation designed to stop aliens who are trying to take over our planet.

Spelling doesn’t count. No obligation to share unless you want to.

Drop-ins are welcome.   Sunday, February 9 Sunday, February 23 Drop-in 1-3pm Take one of our LEGO challenges, make a design from “The LEGO Ideas Book,” or create your own design. All LEGO creations stay at the library so there will be plenty of bricks for the next event.
